Help us welcome Ms. Tate Magee to the Village!

We have so many shining new faces joining us around the Village, and we’re so excited to introduce one of them!

Ms. Tate is joining us all the way from Mississippi and is excited to make her way to the Bluegrass and become part of our kindergarten team! We’re so happy to have her here and can’t wait for our students and families to get to know her.

Ms. Tate is ready to rock her first year and ignite a love for learning that will last a lifetime! We know she is going to bring so much energy, joy, and excitement to her classroom.

Help us welcome Ms. Addie Miller to the Village! ⭐️

We have so many new shining faces to welcome around the Village, and we’re so excited to introduce one of them!

We got to know Addie during her time student teaching with us, and this year, we are thrilled to welcome her back as a preschool teacher, where she’ll be teaching some of our youngest learners in the district!

Please join us in giving a warm Village welcome to Ms. Addie Miller! She is already lovingly known as Ms. Addie by her preschool students, and we know she is going to make such a special impact on our littlest learners.

Southland Christian Church provided us with a yummy lunch for all staff during our JELV Jumpstart today and goodies bags so we are all ready to start the new year with students.

Is your child fully registered for Kindergarten? If so, your child is eligible to attend Kindergarten Kick-Off on August 12th and 13th!

Registration Process

Step 1: Complete Online Registration (OLR)
https://www.jessamine.kyschools.us/o/jcs/page
Important: Write down your OLR confirmation number- you will need it for the next step

Step 2: Complete Google Form (links will be active on 3/16/26)
Kindergarten Google Form
● Child is 5 years old by August 1st

Step 3: Submit Required Documents In Person
Once you have completed the Online Registration and Google Form, please bring the following required documents to the Jessamine Early Learning Village during office hours.

● Child's State Issued Birth Certificate
● Proof of Residency (Utility or Internet Bill) dated within the last 60 days
● Child's Immunization Certificate (with valid expiration date)
● Child's School Physical Form (completed up to 1 year prior to the first day of school)
● Legal documents, if applicable (custody or guardianship paperwork)

To attend Kindergarten Kick-Off, you must register using the Google link you receive when dropping off your documents at JELV. If you have any questions about your child's registration status, please call the JELV front office at 859-887-5358 or email [email protected].
