It was a packed house at last night’s board meeting, and for good reason! 🏫✨ The Board had the absolute pleasure of celebrating some of our outstanding WJMS student-athletes for their incredible achievements throughout the 2025–26 season. 🏆

We are beyond proud of the grit, determination, and talent these Colts bring to the game and we can’t wait to see what they accomplish next! 🔥

Before the first bell rang and the halls filled up, our team was hard at work. spending the extra time soaking up new ideas, collaborating, and doing their homework before the big day.✏️

☀️ From Summer SUN Meals to School Day Smiles! 🍎

They say don't look back, but we're making an exception for summer! We know school just started today, but we couldn't let the first day end without celebrating an incredible milestone.

Thanks to our dedicated Child Nutrition staff, and our team of volunteers, our SUN Meals program served over 300,000 free, nutritious meals and snacks to kids across Jessamine County this summer! 🥪🥛

While our team is officially back inside our school kitchens and cafeterias starting today, one thing hasn't changed: the love, care, and quality packed into every single tray. Whether it was summer curbside pickup or today's first lunch, we are honored to keep fueling Jessamine County's kids for success.💙🎒
