During our annual staff retreat last week, we put our skills to the test with an interactive game of CLUE! Each pathway hosted a station where teachers taught one another the skills we get to teach our students every day.

After each station, we earned a clue that brought us one step closer to solving the ultimate mystery…

Beyond the fun, we’re incredibly grateful for this community of intelligent, talented, and driven educators. Each pathway brings something unique to the table, and it’s those different skills, perspectives, and passions that make our team stronger. 🤍

Abby completed the Health Science Pathway during her time at JCTC, which she reflects on below:

"JCTC gave me the opportunity to chase my career dreams early and get my CNA and phlebotomy license early. I was able to see the positive impact healthcare has and it affirmed my decision to choose healthcare as a career. I am always thankful for Mrs. Simpson and Mrs. Elliott believing in me and encouraging me to pursue my dreams."

🌟 Alumni Spotlight: Chandler Dampier 🌟

Chandler completed the Engineering Pathway with us, and recently graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kentucky! He is now a Sales & Design Engineer at Ivey Mechanical in Lexington, KY.

When asked about how JCTC impacted him, he said "Being able to take engineering classes in high school set me up for success. Thank you to Mrs. Banks who showed me my passion for engineering!"
