We are following a program, but as for the format - we are making it up as we go.

So far the favorite subject appears to be art! Lol As if I didn’t already expect that! K says Art projects are more fun than maths!!!

Bridgeside Academy is going well. Who else wants to enroll in our school? No dress code! Extra recess! Can eat while in class Lolol (Kendall says that’s the best thing.)
I think we need a mascot! Ideas???

It’s 7:40pm and the kids are doing school work. Today they’ve played games on their tablets, read about frogs and toads, did math practice session, math games, then they went to the park and played, jumped on the trampoline, got dinner from McD’s, played outside some more and then came inside, had snacks while playing on tablets. Then they got the rest of today’s work so they will also have done Spelling/Writing, Earth Sciences, Art, and Language Arts.

That’s a pretty full day of fun and work! And they don’t even feel like they’ve done a lot of school work today. But they actually have! Yay!

Got the printer ink and the printer set back up today. I printed out all the worksheets for about a month or so. Some courses have worksheets while others only have online activities. Each course in its own binder n ready!

Started a new week today. Library was Friday so plenty of new books too. Kendall needed a bit of help today. She had to read a poem and then do something. She did not know what the word “stanza” meant so she got stuck. But after a little explanation she was fine. I don’t think she’s done much with poetry in the past but it’s included in this program which I love. So far we both agree that this school is going well.
