My restoration of a pair of antique .800 silver Demetrio Kremos, Roma, Italy (later to found Bulgari) shoe buckles for the Poirot collage. These reference the story, "One, Two, Buckle My Shoe."

Acquired with a deep patina and only one of the original alligator inserts. Fortunately, I had a suitable remnant of gator hide from a previous project to match missing piece.

Spent the last two days doing bead stringing therapy. Most are my type collection of antique & vintage trade beads (1600s to early 1900s). Making that silver turtle made my fingers numb. Must anneal more often. The fe**sh necklace, far right, was a project for wife.

One of my fishing kits in a s***f tin. Feather quill floats use a small cut section of quill on the shaft to secure line to float.

From my living history coin pouch - gold, silver and copper coins in use by early America from Spain, Great Britain, France & US. The Spanish milled dollar remained legal tender in the US until 1850. But, gold is gold, and silver is silver - and still valued everywhere.
