They were designed to be played together using handheld controllers, similar to Xbox or PlayStation controllers, complete with original characters, animations, challenges, and plenty of teamwork. 🤝✨

🎮 Sneak Peek: Multiplayer Video Game Programming Camp!

We’ve been hard at work building a retro platformer-style co-op game for our summer camps, and this one is all about getting multiple players working together on the same screen.

Students will get to explore how multiplayer games actually work, including:

🕹️ Player 1 and Player 2 controls�⌨️ Multiple input systems�🏃 Running, climbing, movement, and collision�🤝 Co-op gameplay design�🧱 Level building, enemies, treasure, and exits�🐞 Testing, debugging, and making the game more fun

This project is inspired by classic arcade-style games, but built in a way students can understand, modify, and grow into their own creation.

🎮 Multiplayer Video Game Programming Camp is almost here!

Students will build a real 2-player co-op video game in Godot!

This is not just playing games — this is learning how games are actually made. Students will design, code, test, and improve their own multiplayer game project from the ground up.

🗓️ Two camp options available coming up in the next two weeks:

🎮 July 6–10
⏰ 12:30–3:00 PM

🎮 July 13–17
⏰ 9:00–11:30 AM

Students will experience creating:
🎮 Player 1 + Player 2 Controls
Keyboard input, movement, and collision

🧱 Level Design
Platforms, ladders, treasure, exits, and game layout

⚔️ Game Systems
Enemies, win screens, menus, and basic debugging

🤝 Teamwork + Playtesting
Build it, test it, fix it, and make it more fun!
