🌈✨ What a COLORFUL day at Bright Years Academy! ✨🌈

Today our little artists showed off their amazing Tie-dye creations during our very own Tie-Dye Parade! 🎉❤️💚💙💛💜🧡🩷

The halls were filled with bright colors, big smiles, happy waves, and lots of excitement as our children proudly strutted their stuff and showed off their one-of-a-kind masterpieces! 🌟

From swirls and splashes to every color of the rainbow, each shirt was as unique and special as the child wearing it. 🌈❤️

September is just a few days away! 🍎🍂 We’re looking forward to a new month filled with learning, play, and the first signs of fall at Bright Years Academy. Here are a few important dates for our families to keep in mind:

📌 September 7: All centers closed for Labor Day
📌 September 11: West Hartford closes at 3:00pm for Rosh Hashanah
📌 September 21: West Hartford closed for Yom Kippur

🌟 Today we’re celebrating 7 years with Kelly Goldstine! 🌟

Kelly’s connection to our Niantic center goes back 18 years, giving her a unique perspective on the children, families, and Teachers who make Bright Years Academy what it is today. Now, as our Education Specialist, she shares that experience across all of our classrooms, supporting our Teachers and helping them create engaging learning experiences that encourage children to explore, discover, and grow.

🐢💚 A Very Special Visit to BYA Niantic! 💚🐢

Today, the Bright Years Academy Niantic community had the sweetest—and most unique—visitor! We were thrilled to welcome Blake and Morgan’s -Nana and Pops, along with their beloved family member, Ralph, a 51-year-old Red-footed tortoise! 🐢

Ralph’s story is truly one for the books. 📖❤️ Nana purchased Ralph from a pet shop in 1975 when Nana was just 15 years old. Over the past five decades, Ralph has been there through marriage, children, grandchildren, and countless family memories. Talk about a lifelong family member!

Our Educational Specialist was lucky enough to capture this cold-blooded BYA community member during his visit today—and the Bright Years children had a wonderful opportunity to learn that animals can become treasured companions for an entire lifetime. 🌎🔍

Fun fact: Red-footed tortoises are native to parts of South America and are known for the colorful scales on their legs and head. And Ralph? He’s living proof that with love and care, a tortoise can be part of your family for generations! 🐢❤️

Thank you, Nana and Pops, for sharing Ralph and his incredible story with our BYA Niantic family! We loved meeting this very special member of the community. 🥰

✨What a magical day at BrightYears Academy ✨

Today we had the pleasure of welcoming Dan Bowen’s Magic Show to our center, and the children were absolutely amazed! 🪄🎩 From exciting tricks to lots of laughter and audience participation, every child had a front-row seat to the magic!

Seeing the smiles, giggles, and wide eyes through the show made for a truly memorable day. Thank you, Dan Bowen, for bringing so much wonder and excitement to our Bright Years center! ☀️

An Amazing Day of Learning and Team Building at Bright Years Academy Niantic!

Our Bright Years Academy Niantic team had an incredible August Professional Development day filled with learning, collaboration, and connections!
We took time to revisit our Bright Years Core Values and Policies, strengthening our shared commitment to providing an exceptional experience for the children and families we serve.

Our team also enjoyed engaging team-building activities and games, creating plenty of opportunities for laughter, connections, and collaboration.
A special high of the day was an inspiring presentation on Child- Led Art Experiences & ELDS with Diane Dusza. We are grateful for the opportunity to learn new ways to encourage creativity, exploration, and meaningful learning experiences for our children.

We are so proud of our dedicated Niantic Teachers . And their continued commitment to growing, learning, and creating bright beginnings for every child.
