Niagara University’s College of Education & Human Services is dedicated to preparing the highest quality teachers, educational leaders, school and mental health counselors, and school psychologists - professionals who will make a difference for children and their families. The College of Education offers programs that are nationally accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher E
ducation (NCATE) and that have received national recognition through CEC and NAEYC. Our master’s degree programs include Initial Teacher Certification/M.Ed., Literacy Instruction (B-6) or (5-12), Foundations of Math, Science and Technology, TESOL, Special Education (1-6) or (7-12) both available ONLINE, Early Childhood and Special Education B-2, and Educational Leadership (ONLINE). We also offer master’s degree programs in School Psychology, School Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and a Bridge Program/CAS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling for those who hold a related degree. If you are interested in earning your doctoral degree, we now offer a Ph.D. Niagara University also has a satellite campus located in Ontario where we offer a bachelor’s degree program in Teacher Education (Primary-Junior or Intermediate-Senior) and a master’s degree program in Educational Leadership for Canadian students.
