One of the things I love about camp is being able to send the children off on the final day with a brand new backpack and all of the supplies that their Kindergarten teachers are asking for. Thank you to all who donated to help make this possible.

This sweet ray of sunshine decided that her show-and-tell today would be a song. Boy, was it a day changer! This came about 15 minutes after morning dropoff when a grandma asked me if it was hard to say goodbye when camp is done. Yes, ma’am. Yes, it is.

Even though our camp days are filled with fun, our teachers keep an important goal in mind: to help the children prepare for as successful a start to Kindergarten as possible. This means practicing important social skills, learning crucial school behaviors and understanding the expectations of being in a group setting.
