Yesterday, I had so much fun running SPOKES with Lila and Harleen! 🎈✨ We took on some mini challenges, including balloon keep-up, cup stacking, and creating shapes with pipe cleaners. It was a great afternoon filled with teamwork, creativity, and lots of laughs! 💙🙌

Last week we had a great group of North Tonawanda Middle School girls join us for the "Seed to Sky" summer camp. We did resin keychains and coasters and prepped for paper pulp seed bombs. (It is a process but well worth it!) We made healthy snacks like yogurt bark and protein balls. We made the seed bombs with a pollinator wildflower blend of seeds. We did garden themed crafts too like the plant markers using wooden spoons. Niagara Downunder brought us some new animal friends (Bob the kangaroo, Tina the tortoise, Tuk Tuk the Armadillo, some guinea pigs, rabbits, and the tiniest kitten!) We learned a lot about working with animals and how interactions like this can bring a community together. We had a wonderful time!

Miss Jess from our North Tonawanda and Gaskill Sites had the pleasure of attending the WYFY kickoff party this past weekend. This event was planned by the WYFY students and mentors. It was a wonderful night. The entire time I thought of our students and how they would rock this opportunity to be a WYFY Ambassador. Take a look!

What a fun day a couple weeks ago at Aaron Mossell in Lockport ✨💜

Ms. Morgan and Ms. Shatel brought the magic today with a hands-on galaxy jar activity that had students creating their own little universe in a jar 🌌

Glitter, colors, creativity, and big smiles all around as students explored space-inspired imagination and science in the most fun way!

Moments like these are what learning is all about—curiosity, connection, and a little bit of sparkle ✨

So grateful for such an engaging day with these amazing students at Aaron Mossell 💫
