The Pre-Contest Recital and Soup Supper Fundraiser has been postponed and will be made up at a later date.

The Newtown-Harris Music Boosters will be selling raffle tickets for a chance to win one of these two Newtown-Harris Tigers Stadium Seats. Tickets are 1 for $1 or 6 for $5 and will be available at the next two home games. (1/17 and 1/29) Winners will be announced at the boy's halftime on 1/29. We also have extra fan cloth shirts for $10 (small and medium) and vehicle stickers for $5.

There is a second chance order form for Fancloth gear available until Friday, November 2nd. Stop by the office or contact Mr. Stewart if you would like to order something. There is a 15 item requirement for Fancloth to go into production. Money will be collected when the items are received. Here is the link to the online store.

Thank you to everyone who was at the Missouri Day Parade supporting the Tiger Pride Marching Band! The awards ceremony has been moved to 11:30 a.m.

The Newtown-Harris Tiger Pride Marching Band will be marching in the Missouri Days Parade on Saturday, October 20th . Students need to be at the school at 6:30 a.m. A parent letter was sent home on Monday. Please fill out the bottom and return it as soon as possible or contact the office if you plan to pick your child/children up after the parade. The parade starts at 8:30 a.m.

The band boosters will be having a car wash/bake sale on Saturday, August 25th from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. in the school parking lot.

The Adventureland trip has been scheduled for Monday, July 30th. Permission slips and itineraries for eligible students were sent home via mail. Please return signed permission slips to the school by Friday, July 27th.

The band trip to Adventureland has been postponed. More information later this week.

Band camp is next week!!
July 9th - 13th

JH/HS 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. (wear tennis shoes and appropriate outside clothes)

6th grade 12:00 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.

5th grade flutes 2:00 p.m. - 2:45 p.m.
5th grade clarinets 2:45 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
5th grade trumpets 3:30 p.m. - 4:15 p.m.
5th grade trombones 4:15 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Instrument rental night is on Monday, July 9th at 6:00 in the band room. This is for all students who are interested in renting or have questions about renting.

The Adventureland trip will be on July 17th for students with perfect attendance at band camp. An informational letter will be sent home on Monday.
