🎒🚌 BACK TO SCHOOL SAFETY WEEK - SCHOOL ZONE SAFETY ✏️📚

School drop-off and pick-up can mean more traffic, more pedestrians, and more activity around our schools. Let's all do our part to keep everyone safe! 🎒📚

🚗 SLOW DOWN in school zones and residential areas.

👀 Watch for children crossing streets, walking between vehicles, or entering parking lots.

📵 Stay focused - Put the phone away and keep your attention on the road.

🛑 Obey crossing guards, traffic signs, and school zone rules.

🚸 Stop for pedestrians in crosswalks and give them plenty of time to cross.

🚫 Never double park or stop in areas where stopping is prohibited.

🎒 Follow your school's drop-off and pick-up procedures and be patient. A few extra minutes can make a big difference.

And remember: Children don't always see vehicles, and they don't always act predictably.

💙 Slow down. Stay alert. Protect our students.
