Summer should be full of joy. For a child who is grieving, it can feel heavy and lonely.
That is why we created Camp Healing Hearts, our summer bereavement camp. Over three
gentle days, children who have lost someone they love find friendship, crafts, calming
activities, the comfort of therapy dogs, and the quiet relief of knowing they are not the only
one carrying this. It is a place to feel, to play, and to begin to heal. And because cost should
never stand in the way, financial aid is available for families who qualify. Camp is held the second week of July.
