Council Rock North Band Parents Association

I joined state Senators Steve Santarsiero and Frank Farry and state Rep. Kristin Marcell to welcome the incredible Council Rock High School North Marching Band to the Pennsylvania Capitol. We honored these outstanding students, along with Director of Bands Gregory R. Boccuti and their dedicated staff, with a legislative citation recognizing their historic 2025 season.

We also had the opportunity to meet with Governor Shapiro and Speaker Joanna McClinton in the Governor’s Reception Room to celebrate this remarkable achievement together.

This talented group captured both the USBands Group IIA Pennsylvania State Championship and National Championship — an extraordinary accomplishment. They competed in seven competitions this season, taking first place in six, including both championship titles.

As the father of four Council Rock North graduates — and the son of two Council Rock graduates — this recognition means a great deal to me personally. I couldn’t be prouder of these students for representing our community with such excellence on both the state and national stage.

Congratulations to every student, instructor, and family member who made this historic season possible. You’ve set a new standard and made our entire community proud.
