Eclipse will be performing for the Newtown Parks and Recreation At Newtown's Dickinson Band Shell On Sunday October 3rd from 2:30-4:00pm

In the case of inclement weather, the concert will either move into Dickinson Pavilion
or there may be a possibility of a rain date.

At @newtown_suzuki_music_school, our piano program is offered starting at age 4. Students will work on ear training and the development of proper tone and technique at the beginning stages of their piano experience. After mastering folk songs by ear, students are quickly exposed to reading music. Students joining the program at age 5+ will master all of the skills listed above as well as the introduction of reading music from the start of their musical journey. All students in our piano program are exposed to genres of music such as: Classical, Jazz, Blues, Pop, Broadway, & more! To enroll, please email [email protected]. This month, the Suzuki Music School of Newtown is offering free trial classes for our Preschool Music program. All classes are 45 minutes in length and limited to 4 students per session. Children learn to play songs on xylophones and recorders, as well as sing songs from the Suzuki repertoire and traditional songs.

It is with very deep, deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jeanne Luedke, the Founder of this Suzuki Talent Education School in 1977.
Jeanne was a very dear Friend, Teacher and Mentor to Helen, Andy, Paul and Trish for the past 38 years. Jeanne was also Paul's piano teacher for 14 years.
Our hearts are heavy, but we are all grateful to Jeanne for the strong foundation she set for our school. Her legacy will certainly live on.
