Victor's Lemonade Stand

Hello everybody. Our CEO is getting his stand ready and will be open at noon today.

Our CEO is saying that he will open rain or shine and if it is still too cold for lemonade, he will warm it up. 🤣

This was a very special day for this little guy. Today he brought pizza (and dessert) to the Newtown Police Department and made some new friends in uniform. He got inside of a patrol car, with lights and sirens on, saw the place where they lock up the bad guys, got to meet the dispatchers, even got his finger prints taken, and came home asking if he can have a special day again tomorrow. 🤣

This visit was part of his Lemonade Stand project which he ran during the summer and had part of the proceeds saved to benefit the NPD, but at the end of this he was the one who really got benefits from it. 🙂

Thank you SO much to all who came and helped him with his lemonade stand, buying it, supporting and even promoting his little business. (Yes! The Newtown Bee promoted it!) Thank you to all the neighbors who stopped by. Thank you to Newtown Parks and Recreation for allowing us to take his stand to the Dickinson Park. Thank you to Newtown Health Department for not only giving him a permit to have a legit business but also for waving the fees. Thank you to Carminuccio's Pizza LLC for the big discount on our order today, and thank you to all the awesome men and women at the NPD who keep supporting his dream and being part of his fantastic world. He truly believes he is one of you. And he loves you ALL!

Victor has been busy lately taking swimming lessons at the Treadwell Park, chasing bad guys around the house and getting ready for WestPoint fireworks next weekend, but we do have good news to his customers: He will be selling the best lemonade in town at the Summer Jam Concert on July 10th!
Bring your little ones and lets have some fun.

ALL proceeds from the Summer Jam and Lemonade event will benefit Newtown Police Department. Or as Victor says:
"The guys who protect Button Shop Rd and the neighbors."
Mommy: Who?
Victor: The police, silly!
Mommy: Why?
Victor: Because I like police officers, patrol cars, k-9s, uniform, lights and sirens.

Mommy: Hmmmmm
Victor: And to help catch bad guys, run really fast, drive safe, protect the kids, and stop the bears.

All right, all right!

Yesterday Victor went to Newtown’s Health Department and filed a request for his first permit.
