Congrats to HGP senior Colin Moore on being awarded the Clare McGovern-Warning Scholarship (in memory of St. Katherine Drexel). This scholarship is given to a current senior who demonstrates a love of God, demonstrated by a willingness to use personal resources for others; a faithful regard of religious obligations; a diligence towards schoolwork; assumption of family responsibilities; efforts to reach out to people different than himself; efforts to embracing all members of the school community. We were blessed to celebrate our first school Mass with Monsignor Lawrence, who invited us to grow in devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and to remember Christ’s endless love for each of us.

We are especially grateful to receive a beautiful Sacred Heart of Jesus banner from Archbishop Pérez, a special reminder that Jesus is at the heart of our school community and everything we do. ❤️

Congratulations to Daniel Marchesani and Owen Bittmann, Saint Andrew Class of 2023! Daniel was presented with the Francis J. Marx ’00 Scholarship, a scholarship which is awarded to a Holy Ghost Prep student who demonstrates leadership, a sound academic ability, and a commitment to giving back to HGP. Owen was awarded the University of Pennsylvania Book Award. The University of Pennsylvania Book Prize is awarded to a senior with exemplary citizenship and community service. We are so proud! 💙🤍

This week, the Pennsylvania House of Representatives passed House Bill 2632. This legislation seeks to eliminate funding through the Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) and the Opportunity Scholarship Tax Credit (OSTC) programs, critical sources of tuition assistance for many families.
