Your hard work brought our community together in celebration. We are Grateful to all our police officers for keeping crowds safe and protecting Newtown, and to the public works staff for their vital security support. Special thanks to the Newtown Police Cadets from Newtown, Bethel, Brookfield, and Danbury PDs for their outstanding efforts, and to our neighboring law enforcement agencies for their valuable assistance. 🐾 If you love dogs as much as we do, keep an eye out for this weekend at the Labor Day Parade! 🐾

Therapy dogs Mia, Thor, Carly, Coco, Rocky, and Bowser can’t wait to meet you, whether it’s for some pets, a quick cuddle, or even a photo in front of Newtown Savings Bank (39 Main Street) or while they’re strolling along Main Street.

✨ On the float, you’ll also spot our amazing Service Dogs in Training: Toodles, Apollo, Minnie, Goofy, and Clarabelle, who are working hard to become life-changing partners.

💙 Exceptional Sidekick Service Dogs provide psychiatric service dogs to disabled teens and young adults, empowering them to complete their education and live fuller, more independent lives. And their therapy dogs bring comfort, calm, and companionship to kids and adults across our community.

🐶 Stop by, say hello, and show these hardworking pups some love!
