Bucks County Community College Veterans Club Remembers:

On September 11, 2001, words could not express the tremendous grief our nation experienced over the tragedy that took place in New York City, Washington DC, and Shanksville, Pennsylvania. As a community and as a nation we continue to mourn the tragic loss of life and they will not be forgotten.
On this date, we also saw the power of the human spirit. We commend the heroic actions and courage of the rescue workers, first responders, and citizen volunteers in the days, weeks, and months following the attacks.

Congratulations to Vets Club President Lena Fowler for completing the Bucks County YMCA Veterans Pathways Program. The Veterans group connects weekly for 12-weeks and has full access
to all of the facilities and programs that the Y has to offer, with the personal support of Y staff and trainers. A fantastic graduation ceremony took place at the Doylestown YMCA with catering from Mission BBQ.

After his tour of duty, college gave him a path. Now this vet is helping others go to college in Bucks County New program at BCCC for veterans will be expanded to also help those who have been incarcerated. The school is looking to break down barriers to education for those who have served.

National Desert Storm War Memorial Groundbreaking will be live streamed at 10am on July 14th and Bucks Veterans Club President Lena Fowler will be on hand to witness the ceremony!
