We had our club competition this week and heard some amazing inspirational and humorous speeches. Thanks so much to all that participated and that made it out to vote, you are what makes our club great! Congratulations to our two winners, we are very excited to support you at our Area Contest on February 24, 2024 at 9 AM ET.
We are proud to announce that ALL of our officers have finished their training for this first cycle of the year. This is a huge achievement and shows the commitment that our officers have to our club!
In case you are curious about the training structure, the officers training involves both a core session with a role-specific breakout to learn more about what a VPE does or what a VPPR does etc. The training also includes a competency training on a Toastmasters specific subject to help us learn more about the organization and how to become better leaders.
The best part of this training is that ANYONE is free to join, so feel free to reach out to any one of our officers if you have any questions or if you are interested in sitting in on a session during cycle 2.

Today was our first hybrid session in a few years and it was an awesome meeting!
We had three great speakers - Priya, as well as two first-timers, Brian and Cassio. We had a lively Table Topics session to practice our impromptu speaking, and then we wrapped it all up with evaluations to get feedback on how to become more polished speakers.
