What if learning could look like this?

Curious about homeschooling but not sure where to begin? Wondering what “unschooling” actually looks like in real life? Or simply curious about how Open Connections fits into the broader landscape of educational choice?

Join us Wednesday, August 5 for an Introduction to Homeschooling, Unschooling & Open Connections. This is a welcoming, low-pressure opportunity to explore what learning outside of conventional schooling can look like.

We’ll talk about homeschooling and unschooling in Pennsylvania, share more about the philosophy behind this approach to learning, and offer a closer look at how Open Connections supports young folks and families along the way.

We'll explore the freedom and responsibility that come with this path, the many ways curiosity can shape a young person's experience, and the role that community plays in making the journey meaningful.

Whether you're just beginning to wonder "Could this be right for our family?" or you're already on an unconventional educational path and looking for connection, we'd love to have you join us.

Our pollinator garden is popping! Campus is quiet while our wild friends are so busy. This pollinator garden was planted last summer with so many hands of the members of our Community. It's a very happy little place and we hope to continue to expand it!

If that sounds like the recipe for an unforgettable week to you, Camp OC would have been perfect for you!

Camp OC Session 1 was packed with sunshine, creativity, exploration, and the kind of connection that can only happen at summer camp. Whether campers were sliding down the giant slip-and-slide, printing shirts with vegetables, investigating stream ecosystems, or simply spending time with their camp friends, every day offered opportunities to learn, play, and grow.

The days flew by, but we hope the memories will stick around a whole lot longer. Thanks for an amazing first session, campers! We can't wait to see what the second camp session and the rest of the summer has in store!

When you consider your educational journey, what changes would you have made? Which doors would you have hoped to have opened for you? Would a place like Open Connections be more fulfilling for you?

If you are willing and able, Delco Gives is still going throughout the day today. Each nonprofit receives extra chances for fund prizes based on how many donors they have, not how much each donor gives. No gift is too small.
