Join Garrett Williamson, Willistown Conservation Trust, and BirdTown PA for a special screening of two episodes of Roots So Deep (You Can See the Devil Down There), an acclaimed - and surprisingly accessible - documentary series exploring the possibilities of adaptive cattle grazing.

Our annual Harvest Festival is the biggest fundraising event supporting our Agricultural Education programs and one of the best opportunities to explore the farm.

Through Farm Explorers Club, participants develop practical skills while gaining a deeper understanding of what it takes to care for animals every day.

What Will You Learn?

Animal Nutrition
Learn what different animals eat, how much they need, and why proper nutrition is essential to their health.

Daily Animal Care
Help feed animals, provide fresh water, clean animal spaces, and complete important daily chores.

Animal Health
Discover the basics of keeping animals healthy by observing their behavior and learning how to recognize when something isn't quite right.

Teamwork & Responsibility
Work alongside other members while building confidence, communication skills, and a strong sense of responsibility.

Some of life's most valuable lessons can't be taught from a textbook.

They are learned by showing up, lending a hand, and caring for another living thing.

Through Farm Explorers Club, participants become part of our animal’s daily care.

From feeding and providing fresh water to helping keep animal spaces clean, every task helps build valuable life skills.

Animal care teaches children to:
-Build confidence through hands-on experiences
-Work together as part of a team
-Develop responsibility and empathy
-Respect animals and the natural world
-Discover that even small acts of care make a big difference
