It’s the season! Sooo busy. Just finished playing for American Christian School’s spring concert! They were fabulous! I really need to learn how to take better pics

My students all know to bring their spiral notebooks every week for me to record their assignments. At some point during the first five minutes of every lesson I always turn the previous weeks page and put today’s date. This student waited very patiently for the moment that I turned to the page and turned to see my expression. Little did she realize I teared up because she had no idea about my emotions on my way to work this morning. What made it so special was I wasn’t feeling very positive this mornin and was having an emotional rough patch. God is soooo in control and so good and shows his majesty through the most simplest of ways.

I had the honor of accompanying the Lakeland Youth Symphony concerto finalists on Saturday evening. What an incredible group of young musicians—so inspiring to work with them! 🎶✨ ”

Every winter, we get just enough snow that my backyard turns into the perfect sledding hill ❄️🛷
When that happens, I love sending a note to my lesson families for that day and inviting them to bring their sleds and enjoy the hill while they’re here.

My Monday students are in luck—tomorrow we have a fabulous hill ready to go! Toby and I were out today carving out a smooth sledding path, and it’s just waiting to be enjoyed. Winter magic at the studio 🤍
