It's Never Too Late to Build a New Future

Nearly half of all adults have attended a community college, and more than one in four returned later in life to gain new skills, earn a credential, or prepare for a new career.

Learning doesn't stop after high school. Every day, adult students are choosing to invest in themselves—and scholarships help make that possible.

Help build Sussex County's future workforce. Learn how you can support the 100 Men Project:

Sussex County Community College is proud to celebrate an extraordinary accomplishment! 🎓

Two graduates of our High School Equivalency (HSE) Program, Jairo (Jay) Hernandes and Elisangela (Lisa) Silva, have been awarded the only two New Jersey Association for Lifelong Learning (NJALL) Scholarships presented statewide this year.

Each student will receive up to $8,000 to support their educational journey as they continue their studies at Sussex: Jay is currently enrolled at SCCC and serves as a Student Ambassador, and Lisa will begin our Culinary Arts program this fall.

This remarkable achievement reflects the perseverance of our students and the dedication of our HSE faculty and staff, who help adult learners achieve their educational and career goals every day.
