Rolling out the red carpet! 🌟❤️

Our Grade 2 and Grade 3 students had their moment to shine as they walked the red carpet and rang the gong, celebrating all they’ve accomplished and their exciting transition to the Upper School. Families, teachers, and friends cheered them on as they marked this special milestone and took their next steps with confidence, pride, and plenty of smiles. 🎉✨

We can’t wait to see all they accomplish next!

Now that our Grade 8 students are back home (and graduating today!), we’re sharing a few final highlights from their unforgettable journey to the Dominican Republic! 🇩🇴💙

Students built meaningful friendships at Luis Hess School through games, sports, dancing, and language exchange, explored caves, rivers, and beaches, and learned about the remarkable history of the Jewish community in Sosúa. They also met with Israel’s ambassador to the Dominican Republic and experienced a memorable Shabbat together filled with tefillot, singing, and ruach.

An incredible week of friendship, gratitude, adventure, and growth that will stay with them for years to come. ✨

What a way to wrap up our final Shabbat Shira of the school year! 🎶✨

The Stein Circle community came together for a joyful celebration filled with singing, dancing, surprise flash mobs and plenty of ruach. Another unforgettable highlight? A Readathon raffle winner getting to pie a teacher in the face (or maybe the back of the head! 🥧😂) in front of an enthusiastic crowd.

Thank you to everyone who helped make Shabbat Shira such a special tradition throughout the year! 💙

Field Day at Stein Circle was the perfect way to celebrate the end of the school year! ☀️🏃‍♀️🎉

From kickball, tug-of-war and sack races to LEGO building, bracelet-making, bubbles and more, our Pre-K–Grade 3 students spent the day moving, creating and cheering one another on. The fun wrapped up with a schoolwide assembly featuring a faculty and staff Minute-To-Win-It showdown!

Our first graders wrapped up their Homes Unit by turning learning into action! After studying homes from around the world—including yurts, igloos, kibbutzim and houses on stilts—students created brochures, built model homes and became real estate agents for the day. At today’s Open House, they welcomed family and friends, showcased their creations and made their best case for why their home was the perfect place to live! First graders today, architects, builders and real estate agents tomorrow! 🏡 🧱 ✏️

Learning comes to life through hands-on discovery! 🐛🦋🐣🪱 From watching caterpillars transform into butterflies in Gan Shelanu and Pre-K, to witnessing chicks hatch from eggs in Pre-K, to observing worms up close in Kindergarten science, our young learners explored the wonders of the animal world through observation, curiosity, and real-life experiences.
