Everest: A College Coaching Program's Executive Director, Sheilah Gauch is presenting, “Understanding & Supporting PANS/PANDAS” at the Parent/Professional Advocacy League’s 15th Annual Children’s Mental Health Conference — the largest event of its kind in New England.
Her session explores PANS/PANDAS: how infections and viruses can trigger OCD, anxiety, tics, mood changes, and sudden academic difficulties. She’ll cover diagnosis, treatment, and what real support looks like for kids and the people in their corner.
Through her work, Sheilah is raising awareness around why PANS/PANDAS so often goes unrecognized, what diagnosis and treatment can look like, and what families and educators face every day.
👍This conference is free for families.

We are proud to share that our Executive Director, Sheilah Gauch will be speaking at today's webinar as part of the newly launched Strength in Stages program — a meaningful collaboration between Look. Foundation and United Way of Greater Plymouth County.
At Everest: A College Coaching Program, our coaches are well-versed in the unique challenges students with PANS/PANDAS face, and we are committed to walking alongside both students and their families every step of the way. That's why programs like Strength in Stages resonate so deeply with our mission.💪
Strength in Stages is a 5-week program designed to educate, support, and connect caregivers of children and young adults with PANS/PANDAS. The program features four virtual sessions and concludes with an in-person Evening of Storytelling, where caregivers and young adults share their experiences with resilience and hope.
Look. Foundation The Look. Foundation envisions a future where every child and young adult affected by infection-triggered neuroinflammation (PANS and PANDAS) have equal access to: Swift and appropriate diagnosis, treatment and care. Essential support from schools, communities and medical providers
