Our Alternative Breaks are designed to connect students and community members while fostering personal growth, mutual awareness and life-long learning.
Lasell's Alternative Breaks are about reciprocity. With the Alternative Break, you can provide needed services to communities around the country, while gaining a better understanding of important social issues: poverty, affordable housing, homelessness, etc. The Alternative Break provides a great opportunity to meet new people on campus with similar interests in service and build new friendships. It's also an exciting, affordable and meaningful traveling experience.

Out of an abundance of caution and with the best interest of everyone at Lasell in mind, the decision has been made to cancel the Alternative Spring Break Trips.
These programs and activities are a rich part of the student experience at Lasell. This decision, based on the rapidly changing COVID-19 situation, was made after consulting with state and local health authorities, peer institutions and members of the Lasell community including students, faculty and staff.
We know this decision is disappointing. Please know that nothing is more important than the health, safety and well-being of our community.

Coronavirus Updates Lasell University is closely monitoring updates regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19), internationally and here in the United States, on a daily basis. We are in constant contact with local and national health agencies for updated travel advisories and preventative measures.
