I have owned and operated my Family Child Care for 35 yrs. We provide high quality care and guidance Hours Mon-Fri 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

I opened my Licensed Child Care program in August 1981. I believe that it is important to provide a safe, nurturing and educational environment for your child. An environment where social, emotional and intellectual growth are promoted and encouraged. I care for children as if they were my own, and I have structured my program to be an extension of your home environment. The atmosphere is one of a

large family, and respect for oneself and others are encouraged through love, praise and positive reinforcement. My current License capacity is 10, as posted on my license. I work with a full time and part time licensed assistant. All family Child Care Educators must carry out a routine that is flexible and responds to the needs and interest of children in care. The routine must include such things as meetings the physical needs of the children in care, 60 minutes of physical activity everyday. Child-initiated and educator initiated activities and daily outdoor play, weather permitting. Additionally, we have developed a curriculum that engages children and developmentally appropriate activities by planning specific learning experiences. our curriculum includes things such as; learning self help skills that foster independence, opportunities to gain problem solving
and decision making competencies and leadership skills and opportunities to learn about proper nutrition good health and personal safety. I am also responsible for providing an environment that promotes cultural, social and individual diversity. In addition, progress reports will be completed periodically for all children in care. I will also provide daily written reports for children 12 months and under. We provide healthy well balanced breakfasts, lunches and 2 hearty snacks daily. We provide a variety of activities throughout the day such as; coloring, painting, play dough, puzzles, free play, singing, dancing, reading books, listening to music, talking about weather, water play, sand play, bubbles, slides, nature walks, blocks, toy trucks and cars, trains, animals, dolls, dress up clothes.

We were so humbled by the beautiful words ,cards,gifts,shared memories as we said good bye to honey pot families these past couple of days . Our hearts are so full of gratitude, love ,joy . We do appreciate all of the out pour of love we have felt . Thank you so much . We look forward to hearing from you and watching as the children grow. Again our hearts are so full . Thank you !!!
