🌍 💧💧 Dairy farmers in Kenya are being hit hard by climate change.
In our latest blog, we share how we are working on an innovative mechanism to increase incomes, improve health, reduce the time burden on women and girls, and increase school attendance, by distributing water tanks on credit which is repaid by the farmer over time from their additional earnings.
Find out how our innovative project is progressing by reading below.

2022 was a tremendous leap forward for research at PxD!
We generated new insights and proofs of concept to build future programming such as an SMS agro-dealer directory and a WhatsApp-based crowdsourcing chatbot.
We've built research partnerships for scalability with dairy cooperatives and scoping opportunities to benefit smallholder farmers through their participation in climate mitigation activities with direct tangible returns.

There is a lot of excitement about regenerative agriculture's potential in the Global South to leverage agricultural land as a carbon sink. But what does the evidence say about how to do so most effectively in the smallholder farmer context? PxD, in collaboration with IGSD, identified the primary strategies for organic carbon sequestration in agriculture as well as the evidence on their effectiveness.
