Camille is being recognized for her incredible kindness, positivity, and compassion. Whether she’s supporting her field hockey teammates, encouraging others, or simply offering a helping hand, Camille consistently goes above and beyond to make those around her feel valued and included.

Mr. Scullin is being recognized for his outstanding support of his colleagues. His willingness to share his knowledge, offer guidance, and help others navigate their day-to-day responsibilities makes a meaningful difference at NHS.

Our Spanish classes have celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month with fun, meaningful activities, including Chalk the Walk and a special luncheon!

From colorful sidewalk artwork to delicious food, students explored and celebrated Hispanic cultures and traditions in creative ways.

🎨 Art brings stories and traditions to life.
🍽️ Food brings people and cultures together.

What a wonderful reminder that learning about different cultures goes far beyond the classroom!

🚨 DISTRICT EMERGENCY ALERT SYSTEM TEST TONIGHT 🚨

Newton Public Schools will be conducting a test of our district emergency alert system tonight at approximately 7:00 PM.

All families should expect to receive a test alert. No action is required when the message arrives.

If you do not receive the alert by tomorrow morning, please contact Erin Marmara, District Coordinator of Technology & Operations, so we can make sure your contact information is up to date.

SCARC “Just Us Kids” Family Support Program

Newton families are invited to learn about SCARC’s Just Us Kids, a community-based weekend respite program for children ages 10–15 with developmental and intellectual disabilities.

📍 Sparta, NJ
📅 3 Saturdays per month
⏰ 10:00 AM–3:00 PM

Participants enjoy supported community and recreational activities such as bowling, trampoline parks, museums, laser tag, mini-golf, arts & crafts, movies and more.

Children must be approved for services through PerformCare, and enrollment includes an intake meeting. Space is limited.
