What a fun opportunity to get some hands on learning with technology🍀

🚀 Discover the Exciting World of 3D Printing – FREE Community STEM Night! 🚀

Have you ever wanted to create something with a 3D printer? Now's your chance!

Join us on Wednesday, September 2, from 5:00–7:00 PM at the Innovation Center, Room 130 in the Effingham Technology Center for a FREE beginner-friendly STEM Night where you'll learn the basics of Tinkercad and Bambu 3D printing.

✨ During this hands-on workshop, you'll:
🔹 Learn to design simple 3D objects using Tinkercad
🔹 See how Bambu 3D printers bring your designs to life
🔹 Take home your own custom 3D-printed bookmark or bag tag!

This class is perfect for beginners of all ages! Participants under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult.

Our instructors, Cody McQueen and Matt Ogle, bring years of experience and a passion for making 3D design fun, engaging, and easy to learn.

💻 Bring a laptop and/or a flash drive if you'd like (both are optional).

What a great weekend of learning while preparing the next generation of safe and responsible hunters! We’re excited to celebrate 49 participants who completed our Hunter Safety Course! 👏🎉
A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who helped make the course a success:
🌿 IDNR (Illinois Department of Natural Resources) volunteers — thank you for giving your time, knowledge, and passion to lead the course!
🦌 White Tails Unlimited, thank you for providing the hunter safety vests & hats AND for providing Saturday’s meal. You helped keep everyone looking sharp and well-fed! 😎🍔

Thinking about hunting this season? Complete your Illinois Hunter Safety Certification right here in Jasper County!

Friday, August 7: 6:00–9:00 p.m.
Saturday, August 8: 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

🍽️ Free lunch will be provided on Saturday by White Tails Unlimited – Embarrass Eagles Chapter.

🎁 All participants will receive hunter safety hats and vests, generously donated by White Tails Unlimited – Embarrass Eagles Chapter.

Illinois 4-H members ages 14-18 are invited to test their livestock knowledge at the 4-H Superior Young Producer Contest during the Illinois State Fair!

Participants will put their skills to the test in areas including livestock breeds, marketing, equipment identification, quality assurance, and more. Plus, competitors have the chance to earn one of nine $1,000 scholarships!

Join us Wednesday, August 12, at the south show ring of the Junior Cattle Barn on the Illinois State Fairgrounds. Registration begins at 6 p.m. We hope to see you there!
