NCS 7th and 8th graders had an opportunity to serve on their class trip to Kansas City at Harvesters Food Network. Together, they sorted thousands of pounds of potatoes that will help feed families throughout the area. Harvesters distributes more than 61 million pounds of food each year, and with 1 in 6 people facing food insecurity, it was a powerful reminder of how important serving others can be.
This trip was also a meaningful time for students to bond and talk about their plans for the summer and the future ahead. During our devotionals, we talked about how God doesn’t take a summer break from us. He is always at work in our lives. We encouraged students to stay grounded in their faith by building consistent summer routines that keep them in God’s Word and connected to Him.
We are so proud of these students for the way they served, encouraged one another, and represented our school with compassion and Christlike character. What a blessing to watch them grow together in both faith and service!

That’s a wrap on the 25/26 school year. Thankful for the friendships, lessons, laughter and the many ways God has worked in the lives of these students throughout the year.
A special congratulations to our 8th grade graduates and preschool students! 🎓 We are so proud of all you have accomplished and pray God continues to guide your next chapter.
We also ask for prayers over our 7/8 students, parents and staff as they head out on their class trip. Praying for safety, fun memories, unity and God’s protection during their travels.

What a wonderful way to wrap up Teacher Appreciation Week! 💙🍳
The Newton Christian School Board had the privilege of serving breakfast to our incredible staff this morning as a small thank you for the big impact they make every single day. From the classroom to the hallways, their love, dedication, patience, and commitment to our students do not go unnoticed.
We are so grateful for each member of our NCS family and all they pour into our students academically, spiritually, and personally. Thank you for being the hands and feet of Jesus each day at Newton Christian School! 🦁✨
Our Kindergarten students had the opportunity to tour the fire department and deliver treats to the firefighters!

Another exciting week at NCS! We are so grateful for the incredible support at this year’s annual hog roast and auction! Because of your generosity, time and enthusiasm the event was a wonderful success.
