JPR is DEAD “Therefore if anyone is in Christ, “he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. We talk to the dead and we film it.

Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ” 2 Corinthians 5:17-18

From 2014 to 2021, Jones Paranormal Research has represented something that was a major part of my life, a deep passion, a personal pursuit for answers to unknown things, it was my very own flag to wave, something I was sincerely proud of having built, is permanent ink on my skin. But it wasn’t just mine, it was shared amongst friends and family. It created a community and memories. But you know what they say, the road is paved with the best intentions.

I spent years pursuing the paranormal, investigating unexplained experiences, communicating with spirits in any and all ways and searching for answers in places I know I should never have been looking. I knew it then just as I know it now, that the spiritual realm is very real and it’s very dangerous, and it does take a toll, comes with a cost.

In December of 2020 my daughter was born, and in May of 2021 we did our final investigation because I knew in my mind, heart, body and soul that it was too dangerous and I didn’t want to be actively meddling in things like that anymore, it quickly became clear to me that I needed to not involve my children’s innocent and precious souls in such things.

But what was most dangerous is how far away I was from God and how far away from God I was leading my family.

I give all the praise to God that he was gracious to me, that my heart was able to be softened and not permanently hardened to His mercy.

Jesus Christ changed the direction of my life in 2025 when I surrendered myself to Him. What I once pursued is no longer something I want to represent nor have for the last 5 years. I don’t look back at that part of my life with pride, nor do I want to glorify it. I look at it as part of the old life that Christ has called me to leave behind.

Now in this new life I want to glorify Him because I love Him and trust in Him, the pride belongs to Christ alone for the things I have overcome through Him, the ways He has carried me and guided me along all these years, from sobriety to stewarding my marriage and parenthood. He deserves the glory for it all.

“Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.”
— 2 Corinthians 5:17

JPR is dead.

Not because I have become a better version of myself, but because Christ has given me a new life. My hope is no longer found in investigating the unknown. My hope is found in Jesus Christ.

I am a sinner saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, according to Scripture alone, to the glory of God alone

and I want my life, my family, and everything I do to point to Him.

Soli Deo Gloria.
