We are filled with pride and gratitude for all that our sixth grade graduates have accomplished during their time at Jackson Walnut Park School.

This year’s graduating class has been accepted to an extraordinary group of secondary schools, including The Roxbury Latin School, Buckingham Browne & Nichols School, Ursuline Academy, Noble and Greenough School, Boston College High School, Applewild School, The Fessenden School, Boston Latin School, The Rivers School, Brimmer and May School, Dexter Southfield, Xaverian Brothers High School, Beaver Country Day School, Fontbonne Academy, and St. Sebastian’s School- along with many other outstanding schools.

While we celebrate these impressive acceptances, what makes us most proud is not where our students are going, but who they have become. Building Community, One Conversation at a Time! 🧀🍷

What a wonderful evening at our Parent Wine & Cheese Social! On Thursday night, current and newly enrolled families joined faculty and staff for an evening filled with great conversation, delicious food and drinks, laughter, and new connections.

Organized by our Director of Admissions, Carolina Carvajal, the event provided a welcoming opportunity for parents to meet one another, connect with members of our school community, and celebrate the close of another successful school year.

The evening was such a success that we’re already looking forward to planning our next parent social! Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the night so memorable. And thank you for a wonderful year of community connections!

🌎Language Learning Comes to Life! 🚌

Our 6th graders recently took their language studies beyond the classroom and into the heart of Boston with a special trip to Chinatown! After a few years of building their Mandarin language skills, students had the opportunity to put their learning into practice in a real-world setting.

As part of the experience, these students enjoyed lunch at a Chinese restaurant, where they explored new foods, cultures, and language in an authentic environment. After reading menus students ordered their food and rinks, making connections between classroom lessons and everyday life. This trip was a meaningful celebration of their hard work and growth throughout the year.

What a wonderful way to bring language, culture, and community together as we wrap up another successful year of learning! ✨

A Birthday Lunch to Remember! 🥳🎉

One of our wonderful Hats & Hearts Gala experiences came to life in the sweetest way as this student enjoyed a special Lunch Date with Ms. Grevelis — and it happened to fall on her birthday! 🎂💖

What a fun and memorable way to celebrate such a special day together. Accompanied by some 6th graders as well, this day was full of smiles, conversation and birthday excitement for this lucky student. It was a lunch date filled with joy and unforgettable memories!

These meaningful experiences for our students were a great opportunity from our Hats and Hearts Gala. We loved celebrating this student’s big day in such a special! 🎈✨

Butterfly Migration Show 🦋

A few weeks ago, our students were treated to a fantastic Butterfly Migration Show that brought their recent studies of the butterfly life cycle to life! From egg, to caterpillar, to chrysalis, and finally to beautiful butterfly flight, the children experienced the wonder of metamorphosis in such a fun and interactive way.

We were thrilled to welcome back Esther from the Spanish Fun Program, who led students through an engaging story filled with movement, learning, and excitement. Not only were our students fully engaged, but our teachers joined in the fun too!



It was an energizing and educational experience that sparked curiosity, creativity, and lots of smiles. What a lovely event for our students! 🐛✨🦋

✨Assistant for the Day: Mrs. Ash Edition! ✨

Another unforgettable Hats & Hearts Gala experience came to life recently as one of our amazing 3rd graders stepped into the role of Elementary Administrative Assistant for the morning with Mrs. Ash! 🎉

Their morning was packed with important responsibilities and special moments including:

📚 Greeting students and visitors
🍎 Helping teachers throughout the morning
🎓 Attending a graduation meeting with Principal Sullivan
📖 Reading to our Kindergarten class
☀️ Enjoying a special outdoor lunch with a classmate

She handled every task with enthusiasm and did an excellent job all morning long! Her review of the experience? 💬
