Student Spotlight: Anila Ali is a 2007 SCCC graduate who went on to earn her Master’s in Education. Today, she is a special education teacher.

Anila credits the affordability and flexibility of SCCC with helping her save money while working and attending college. She shares, “My Liberal Arts education inspired my passion for teaching and helped me discover my purpose: empowering students and making a lasting impact in their lives.”

Sussex County Community College and Sussex County Technical School are strengthening their partnership to create clearer pathways for students to move from high school into college and the workforce.

By aligning curricula, working with industry advisory boards, and identifying opportunities for college credit, credentials, and advanced standing, the two institutions are helping students build on the skills they’ve already learned, saving time and money while preparing them for high-demand careers.
