It’s time to pass the torch once again! This week, we are excited to keep the momentum going as we Ignite our school spirit and celebrate our next Torch Holder of the Week: Coach Wright!

As our Athletic Director, Coach Wright works tirelessly behind the scenes to keep our sports programs running seamlessly. But his dedication doesn't stop there—you can find him on the sidelines coaching a sport every single season, all while being named time and time again as a student favorite in the classroom.

Whether he’s mentoring student-athletes, coaching from the sidelines, or inspiring students during class, Coach Wright ignites a passion for excellence and brings out the very best in everyone around him.

What a great way to end the week! Our 7th graders who earned this week's Fun Friday reward celebrated with classic table-top fun. The cafeteria and classrooms was bustling with friendly competition as students gathered around board games and card decks. It was wonderful to see everyone interacting, laughing, and enjoying some genuine face-to-face connection. This is what school community is all about! 😊🃏❤️🧩

🔥 Torch Holder Tuesday! 🔥

It’s time to pass the torch! This week, we are proud to ignite that spark and hand over the flame to our Torch Holder of the Week: Mr. Buzz!

If there’s someone who truly embodies our Ignite theme by stepping up wherever there’s a need, it’s Mr. Buzz. Not only does he keep things running smoothly as our ISS teacher, but you can also find him:
🚌 Driving bus routes for both our elementary AND middle school students
🍎 Lending a helping hand in the cafeteria during busy lunch shifts
🍿 Manning the concession stands after school to support our events
🤝 Always jumping in to assist teachers whenever they need an extra set of hands
Mr. Buzz brings energy, dedication, and a heart for service to our school community every single day. Thank you, Mr. Buzz, for keeping the fire burning bright and making our school a better place!

On Friday, September 11, our school community will observe Patriot Day to honor the memory of those lost on September 11, 2001, and to pay tribute to the incredible heroism of our first responders, service members, and everyday citizens who stepped up in the face of tragedy.

To mark the 25th anniversary, we invite all students, staff, and teachers to wear Red, White, and Blue this Friday as a visible sign of unit, reflection, and remembrance.

What: Red, White, and Blue Spirit Day

When: Friday, September 11th

Who: All students and staff

It’s time to pass the torch! Congratulations to Mrs. Peeler for being named our Torch Holder this week as she steps into her new role at JFMS as an 8th-grade science teacher!

Mrs. Peeler has already been such a fantastic addition to her team, bringing energy, passion, and expertise to our campus. We can’t wait to watch her ignite a love for discovery, spark curiosity, and light up the path for our 8th graders as they explore the wonders of science this year! 🧪⚡️
