We are going to the Doshinkan Spring Beach Retreat on April 22nd through April 24th. It is going to be 3 days and 3 nights intensive buki (武器 - weapon) training, with all the fun stuff in-between!

We had a great class yesterday with Brian and Cathy, focusing on empty-hands techniques used against the opponent with bokken. One of the most interesting (and quite difficult to be executed correctly) is ikkajo ni.

It was two days of amazing workshops and demo at Doshinkan Aikido International annual event! Doshinkan/Yoshinkan, Aikikai, Aiki-Jiujitsu, Self-Defense - everything was so inspirational so we cannot wait to bring it to our dojo!

On October 24th and 25th we are attending 7th Annual DAI Event at Doshinkan Honbu Dojo in Philadelphia, PA (www.doshinkan-aikido.org).
It is going to be two days of seminars and workshops, unbelievable demonstrations, intense training and great time hanging out with awesome people!
We are happy to announce that starting from next Monday, Cathryn Fassbender (nidan: second degree black belt) will be teaching a class on Monday.
Brian Cole (sandan: third degree black belt) is starting teaching classes too, see our classes schedule for more details!
