: For over two decades, the local Freemasons of the Scottish Rite Northern Masonic Jurisdiction have been national leaders in the effort to help children and their families overcome the challenges of dyslexia. They continued this tradition this past July with their charity golf tournament: The 29th Teddy Bear Classic. šŸ’œšŸ§ø

Funds raised at this event benefitted the Children's Dyslexia Center of Greater Boston, where they provide free tutoring for children with dyslexia. Raising almost $80,000 with close to 200 players, this golf tournament was an incredible success to witness! šŸ»šŸŒļøā€ā™€ļø

Thank you for choosing to partner with Event Caddy – we cant wait to work together for your big 30th tournament!

No one has a choice in implementing the accommodations and modifications documented in an IEP or 504 plan. To think there’s a choice means you don’t understand there are laws protecting these children, and if you are aware of the laws and still choose not to implement, then you’re assuming you’re above the law when you’re not. There are repercussions for ignoring these plans.

Colleges need to educate our teachers about Dyslexia and how to help our struggling students.

✨PSA✨

With the new wave of excitement around the , remember that teacher knowledge is the most essential part. ā¬‡ļø

This is true regarding ourselves as learners and those who we follow.

I love seeing the excitement, but I also see a lot of misrepresentation and misunderstanding being shared by those teaching others. Ask questions. Ask about their training. Be a savvy consumer. ā¤ļø
