This past Saturday, we held our 33rd commencement at Lasell University and welcomed four new writers to our alum ranks. Congrats to poets Beth Haverkamp Powers and Peter Meidlinger and fiction writers Shane Patrick Dowling and Jay B. Snyder!

Many thanks to our commencement speaker Charles Baxter, who joined us via Zoom. We also owe gratitude to Lasell President Eric Turner, Assistant Provost Ken Calhoun, and class speaker Peter Meidlinger for their remarks.
