Getting back to Yale is always inspiring — but this weekend was truly special. 🎻✨
Our “Music Beyond the Concert Hall” panel sparked such meaningful conversations about why and how we teach music. It was an honor to share the vision behind Village Youth Conservatory, where we’re reimagining music education to build thoughtful, creative, and connected young artists.

Excited to announce that Minjin Chung () has joined the VYCo faculty! Minjin is a highly versatile orchestral, chamber and solo musician, as well as a deeply passionate teacher to all ages and levels.

We had a great time learning this past weekend in our monthly group class! Students got to try Werner Wehrli’s “Ich bin schon da!” (“I am already here!”) - a quirky set of (5) duet pieces where each person reads the same music, but one is read by flipping the page upside-down!
