Today was the final NHS rotunda sing for the '25-'26 Chamber Choir. While seniors are on their last few days and all of us coming up on the last week of school, moments like this remind you to cherish the memories you make.

Congratulations to our NHS Cardinal Choirs today on their amazing performances at IHSMA State Large Group! These students put the final touches on their music this week after our concert and put it all on the stage this afternoon!

Both Concert Chorale and Chamber Choir received a Division II Excellent rating! 🎶🎉❤️🖤

A special night at NHS Spring Sing on Monday!

We celebrated our seniors and recognized award recipients at our final home concert of the year. So proud of all our singers and everything they’ve accomplished this season! ❤️🎶🖤

We had a busy morning with over 40 high school vocal students performing solos and in small ensembles at this year's contest! Congratulations to these students on their Superior and Excellent ratings!

Join us for our final home HS vocal concert of the school year, next Monday, May 4th at 7:00pm!

We will also be recognizing our award recipients and seniors choir members for their involvement in the choral program.

We had a busy day on the road with Chamber Choir! 🎶🚗

We started bright and early, performing the National Anthem for business directors from across Iowa at the Iowa Association of School Business Officials (IASBO) Spring Conference in Altoona.

From there, the choir traveled west for a choral clinic at DCG, where students had the opportunity to work with guest clinicians Dr. Ryan Person and Dr. Tim McMillin as they prepare for Large Group Contest and Monday’s spring concert.

Concert Choir and Freshman Chorale students had the opportunity to meet composer Sherry Blevins —the creative mind behind Tapestry of Music! 🎶✍️🏼

Our singers asked thoughtful questions about her life as a composer, and hearing her talk about the piece gave us a deeper understanding as we prepare it for next week’s concert.

A big thank you to Sherry for taking the time to visit and inspiring the next generation of music writers! 🎶❤️
