🎵 Avery P., a Mill Creek Middle School band student, earned a spot as 13th Chair Clarinet in the 2026 North Carolina Bandmasters Association All-State Band—one of only 70 students selected statewide.

🤖 The Mechanical Minds Robotics Team, comprised of students from St. Stephens High School, Fred T. Foard High School, Challenger Early College High School, and Bandys High School, recently represented our community at the FIRST World Competition in Houston, Texas.

A special thank you to our community partners and supporters who help make opportunities like these possible. We are proud of these students for representing Catawba County Schools with excellence!

This week, Catawba County Schools students explored a wide range of healthcare careers, connected with industry professionals, and gained firsthand insight into opportunities within the healthcare field. Their curiosity, engagement, and professionalism were outstanding!

A special thank you to our community and healthcare partners for sharing your expertise and helping inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals. We are also grateful to Shelly Isenhour-Essary for leading the program and to Caleb Coltrain for his support and transportation coordination throughout the week.
