On this day in 1796... 📜

THIS DAY IN 1796 | Washington's famous Farewell Address, penned with the assistance of Hamilton and Madison, is printed and circulated in newspapers. John Quincy Adams hoped this parting document of wisdom would "serve as the foundation upon which the whole system of [America's] future policy" would rise.

Seacoast Classical Academy's scholars had a wonderful time celebrating Constitution Day this morning and learning more about the foundations of our country! 📜

A special thank you to the Newton Fire Department for joining us and helping make the celebration so meaningful. We are grateful for the time they spent with our scholars and for all they do to serve and protect our community! 🇺🇸
