🎃 October FFA Meeting! 🎃

Today, Hobbton FFA members got into the fall spirit during our October Chapter Meeting with a little pumpkin carving! 🎃🍂

Members had the opportunity to show off their creativity, enjoy some friendly competition, and spend time together outside the classroom. From spooky to silly, there was no shortage of creativity on display!

It’s always great to see our members come together for some fun while building friendships and making memories along the way!

💙💛 Hobbton FFA at Southeast Regional Leadership Conference! 💙💛

This afternoon, Hobbton FFA members traveled to Richlands High School to attend the Southeast Regional Leadership Conference!

Our members had the opportunity to participate in leadership workshops, meet and interact with FFA members from across the Southeast Region, and continue developing the skills that will help them become stronger leaders in our chapter, school, and community.

We’re proud of our members for taking advantage of opportunities like this to Grow Leaders, Build Communities, and Strengthen Agriculture! 🌱

🐾 NC FFA State Veterinary Science CDE 🐾

Hobbton FFA competed today in the NC FFA State Veterinary Science CDE! Our team represented Hobbton well and came home with some great results:

🏆 1st Place – Sampson FFA Federation
🥈 2nd Place – Southeast Region
⭐ 20th Place – North Carolina

We’re proud of the hard work and preparation these students put into this challenging event and the way they represented Hobbton FFA at the state level!

🦌🌲 Hobbton FFA at NC FFA Wildlife Camp! 🌲🦌

This weekend, Hobbton FFA members traveled to the North Carolina FFA Center at White Lake to participate in NC FFA Wildlife Camp!

Throughout the weekend, our members had the opportunity to learn more about wildlife, conservation, and natural resource management through hands-on activities while also enjoying time together at the FFA Center.

We’re thankful for opportunities like Wildlife Camp that allow our students to take learning beyond the classroom, experience something new, and make memories with fellow FFA members from across North Carolina! 💙💛

We’ve reached the final introduction in our 2026–2027 Hobbton FFA Officer Spotlight series, and we’re proud to introduce our President, Geiry Tomas! 🌟

As President, Geiry leads our officer team and chapter members throughout the year, presides over meetings, and works with her fellow officers to carry out the goals and activities of Hobbton FFA. Serving as President requires dedication, responsibility, and a willingness to lead by example.

Stationed “by the rising sun,” the President reminds us that the rising sun is the token of a new era in agriculture and represents the opportunities that each new day brings.

We’re excited to have Geiry leading Hobbton FFA during the 2026–2027 school year and look forward to all that our officer team and members will accomplish together!

Our 2026–2027 Hobbton FFA Officer Spotlight continues as we introduce our Vice President, Cohner Jones! 🌟

As Vice President, Cohner works closely with the President and fellow officers to help lead our chapter, coordinate committees, and carry out our Program of Activities. The Vice President is always ready to step in wherever needed and help keep our chapter moving forward.

Stationed “by the plow,” the Vice President reminds us that without labor, neither knowledge nor wisdom can accomplish much.

We’re excited to have Cohner helping lead Hobbton FFA this year and look forward to seeing him continue to grow as a leader and serve our members!

Our 2026–2027 Hobbton FFA Officer Spotlight continues as we introduce our Secretary, Alison Garcia Alvarado! 🌟

As Secretary, Alison helps keep our chapter organized by maintaining accurate records of meetings, keeping track of chapter activities and correspondence, and working alongside the other officers to make sure Hobbton FFA stays on track.

The Secretary’s station is “by the ear of corn,” representing one of the foundations of American agriculture and reminding us that FFA is rooted in agriculture and service.
