St. Patrick Holiday Expo – Vendors & Shoppers Wanted!
Get ready for a day full of holiday spirit, unique gifts, and local talent! Join us for the St. Patrick Holiday Expo on Sunday, November 15th from 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM in the school gymnasium.
We’re looking for crafters and vendors to fill our gym with festive goods, handmade crafts, and holiday décor. This is the perfect chance to showcase your work and connect with the community before the Christmas rush.
Tables are $25 each (includes one 8-foot table and two chairs).
Payment (cash or check) will be due the morning of the expo.

We are excited to announce that our Fill the Freezer Raffle is back!

For just $10, you get 5 chances to win a gift certificate to Holland Brothers Meats. There are five chances to win, with prizes ranging from $100 all the way up to $1,000.

The drawing will be held the week of Thanksgiving and will be based on the evening 3-digit PA Lottery number.

Tickets are available from Father Allen after Mass or by stopping in the school office Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM.

Twenty-five years later, we remember September 11, 2001, and the way our nation came together as one.

We remember the heroes, honor those we lost, and give thanks to God for the courage, compassion, and strength that carried our country through those difficult days.

As educators, we have the responsibility to keep the memory of that day alive and to teach our students what it meant to come together as a nation, to turn to God in times of uncertainty, and to stand united in the face of adversity.

May God watch over those we remember today, comfort the families who continue to carry their memories, and bless all those who serve and protect our nation.

During our prayer service today, a beautiful beam of light appeared as Father led us in prayer. It was an unexpected moment, but one that felt like a quiet reminder that God was with us as we gathered to remember, honor, and pray.

We remember. We honor. We pray. We will never forget.

STREAM IS TAKING FLIGHT AT ST. PATRICK SCHOOL!

We are excited to be partnering with Bishop McCort for the implementation of our state-of-the-art STREAM program!

STREAM stands for Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Art, and Math, and this year, STREAM is going to be buzzing throughout our school!

We are thrilled to welcome Mr. Jovel Segear, who joins us from Bishop McCort. Mr. Segear will be working with all of our students from PreK through 8th grade while also training and supporting our teachers as they learn how to successfully incorporate this innovative program into their classrooms.

This year’s focus will be drone technology. Our students will be introduced to drones while exploring science, technology, engineering, art, and math, along with lessons in religion, logic gates, etiquette, and even a little Latin.

Students will have the opportunity to learn how to safely operate drones under supervision while developing valuable skills in problem-solving, critical thinking, teamwork, and responsibility. Students in 3rd through 8th grade will also work toward earning their FAA TRUST certificate, preparing them to safely and responsibly operate drones.

We are excited to provide our students with this unique opportunity to learn, explore, create, and experience education in new and innovative ways.

We cannot wait to see where this exciting new program takes our students!

What a great first week of school!

We are so grateful for a wonderful start to the new school year. Our students and staff have been settling in, reconnecting with friends, making new memories, and getting excited for all the learning and opportunities this year will bring.

This morning, we celebrated our first School Mass of the year. During the homily, we were reminded of the importance of being prepared, not only for school, but also for the opportunities, challenges, and moments that come our way each day. With God’s guidance, we are called to approach each day with faith, kindness, and a willingness to learn and serve others.

As we begin this new school year, we look forward to putting that message into action and making the most of every opportunity to learn, grow, and support one another.

School starts Monday!

Right now, our halls are quiet, our classrooms are ready, and everything is waiting for the return of our students. At home, backpacks are being packed and the excitement is building. Here at school, our teachers are making sure every detail is ready and perfect for your child.

We are so excited to welcome our students back and begin another wonderful school year together!

As we prepare to welcome our students back, we ask for God’s blessing and protection over each one of them.

Dear Lord,
We ask You to watch over each of our students as they begin this new school year. Keep them safe, happy, and healthy. Guide them as they learn and grow, and give them the courage to try new things, the wisdom to make good choices, and the confidence to believe in themselves.

Bless their teachers and staff with patience, wisdom, and understanding as they guide and encourage our students each day. May our school be filled with kindness, friendship, faith, and joy.

Lord, we place this school year in Your hands. May it be a safe, happy, and successful year for every student, and may Your presence be with us each step of the way.

Amen.

Friday, Mother Nature was not exactly in our favor, but after the storm passed, we were blessed with something beautiful: a full rainbow stretching across the sky and over our school.

They say there is a pot of gold at the end of every rainbow. We think we found ours.

The end of this rainbow seemed to land right where our greatest treasure is, on our church.

St. Patrick Church is so much more than a building. It is the heart of what brings our St. Patrick family together. It is where our faith, our families, and our community come together. And without the people who walk through those church doors, our school, our parish, and events like the Festival in the Shade simply would not be what they are.

Our volunteers are truly the heart of this festival.

Year after year, they give their time, their energy, their talents, and more hours than we could ever count. They work behind the scenes, serve food, set up, clean up, sell tickets, run games, organize baskets, work the flea market, and do countless little things that most people never see.

They do it because they believe in St. Patrick School.

They do it because they believe in our children.

They do it because they believe in our parish and our community.

And most of all, they do it because this is their family.

We could never put into words how grateful we are for every person who gives their time to make this festival happen. You are the reason we can continue this tradition year after year. You are the hands and hearts behind the scenes, and you are truly our pot of gold.

So when we look back at that rainbow, we won’t just see a beautiful moment after a storm. We’ll see a reminder of just how blessed we are to have the most incredible volunteers and the most wonderful St. Patrick family.
