🎒 Free Backpacks Available for RSU #19 Families 🎒

We are happy to share that free backpacks are available for district families at the Special Services Office located in the Superintendent’s Building.

Some backpacks include school supplies, while others are backpacks only.

🕘 Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
📍 Location: Superintendent’s Building – Special Services Office

Backpacks will be distributed on a first come, first served basis while supplies last.

This is a reminder that the RSU 19 budget validation is tomorrow, June 9th. Please remember to vote on the budget. Thank you.

The RSU 19 District Budget Meeting is tomorrow night , May 19th in the gym of Nokomis Regional High. Please make time to come and vote on the budget.

Due to the unexpected school cancellation on Thursday, May 14, we are making an adjustment to the current school calendar.

Friday, May 22, 2026, will now be an early release day for students.

Making this adjustment will allow previously scheduled end-of-year events and activities to remain unchanged.

RSU 19 is closed today due to a large water main break in the town of Newport. We apologize for the late notice. The central office is closed.

For Sale by Donation
1. Kitchen serving station with tray shelf.
2. Coffee and condiment island with shelving hidden by sliding doors on one side.

Both units are on wheels and will need to be picked up at the Superintendent’s Office during the week of April vacation, Tuesday – Friday 4/24/26.

These were expensive to purchase and we are looking for a minimum of $200 per unit.

RSU 19 will have a 2 hour delay on Friday, April 3rd. No AM pre-k.

RSU 19 will be closed tomorrow, Monday January, 26th. The central office will also be closed.
