Happy 10 years to STEM at Sea-Oregon!

Seven miles off the Oregon Coast, 11 teenagers swayed on the deck of the R/V Pacific Storm, learning to keep their balance amid six-foot swells as researchers and crew expertly maneuvered the ship’s A-frame winch to haul samples of sediment from the ocean floor.

The Neverending Story of the Yaquina Neversink continues!! The Yaquina Neversink has been recovered again - all the way across the Pacific Ocean. Our gratitude goes out to all of the incredible people who have been involved with this intrepid boat - including those at Oregon Sea Grant, Educational Passages, the National Sea Grant network, Charleston Marine Life Center, Lincoln County School District - Oregon, the Coral Reef Research Institute, and Migen and Russel Manansala.
