🥾 GOT OLD COMBAT BOOTS? WE'LL PUT THEM BACK TO WORK! 🇺🇸

The Nokomis JROTC program continues to grow, and we could use a few more pairs of boots!

Veterans and current service members, got a pair collecting dust? We'll gladly give them a second life!

Biggest needs: Sizes 4, 4.5, 6.5, 7, and 10, but all sizes are welcome! Light tan or coyote brown, new or used, as long as they've got some miles left in them.

Please don't buy anything! We're just looking to put unused boots to good use.

📍 Drop off at the Nokomis High School Main Office or send us a message.

Your old boots. Their next adventure.

Take on the challenge. Encourage each other. Keep climbing. A little time in nature is good for the soul, especially when you share the trail with people who help you keep going. Proud of these cadets! Warriors Lead the Way!

Ceremony in Newport, Maine

09/18/2026

Today, the Nokomis Warrior Battalion honored the American service members who were prisoners of war or remain missing in action.

Our cadets conducted a solemn POW/MIA Recognition Day ceremony, honoring their sacrifice and reminding us that they are never forgotten.

We were especially grateful to have local veterans with us to witness our cadets set the standard and pay the respect this day deserves. As always, the support of the band made this event even more special!

We Remember. We Honor. We Will Never Forget.

JCLC 2026 – Complete

Another successful JCLC is in the books.

While weather forced us to adjust some of our plans, including our Mount Washington hike, our cadets embraced the challenge and made the most of every opportunity. Throughout the week they participated in paddling, rappelling, team-building activities, and leadership exercises that tested their character and teamwork.

We are proud of the resilience, adaptability, and positive attitude displayed by every cadet. These young leaders represented the Nokomis JROTC Warrior Battalion with pride and professionalism.

The gear is packed, camp is cleaned up, and the memories will last a lifetime.

We are proud of every cadet who stepped outside their comfort zone, supported their teammates, and grew as a leader this week.
