JCLC 2026 – Complete

Another successful JCLC is in the books.

While weather forced us to adjust some of our plans, including our Mount Washington hike, our cadets embraced the challenge and made the most of every opportunity. Throughout the week they participated in paddling, rappelling, team-building activities, and leadership exercises that tested their character and teamwork.

We are proud of the resilience, adaptability, and positive attitude displayed by every cadet. These young leaders represented the Nokomis JROTC Warrior Battalion with pride and professionalism.

The gear is packed, camp is cleaned up, and the memories will last a lifetime.

We are proud of every cadet who stepped outside their comfort zone, supported their teammates, and grew as a leader this week.

Big push the last few days to complete the rough floor and the 4 walls - started working with the sawmill - WLTW! Special thanks to Moosehead Cedar Log Homes, Treeline Inc, Haley Construction, and the Maine Agriculture in the Classroom grant (funding comes from the Maine Agriculture License plate program)

This past week Nokomis Army JROTC Cadets volunteered to participate in the Summit Project - paying tribute to the fallen service members from Maine who have died in the line of duty since September 11, 2001. They ensured that Maine Heroes are NOT Forgotten by carrying their memorial stones on tribute hike up Tumbledown MTN and carrying their stories for a lifetime
