The NCSU Encore Program provides summer and after school programming for 10 sites in the North Count Hello all!

The Encore Program offers after school and summer programming to 10 sites across the North Country Supervisory Union, including Brighton, Charleston, Coventry, Derby, Jay/Westfield, Lowell, Newport Town, Newport City, and Troy. This page has been created in order to keep communities informed of the amazing opportunities that Encore creates. Encore is funded largely in part by the Century 21 grant, allowing programming to be offered for little to no cost to its attendees. It is also funded by our local schools, donations, and a number of small grants that come together to allow children to learn exciting new skills like gardening, cooking, archery, survival, boating, sewing, and so much more! Check in with this page often to see what is being offered, as well as for date changes, field trip information, cancellations, etc.

This is our seventh year with support from Upper Missisquoi and Trout Rivers - UMATR - Wild & Scenic Committee to run a week long summer paddle for 6th-8th graders on the Missisquoi River. Northeast Kingdom Outfitters and Guide Service run the week, and youth get to know this beautiful river right in their back yards! It is a highlight every year.
