So proud of our ACA seniors! Congratulations to Emmy Royer and Kaeleb Berthiaume for winning our ACA Senior awards! All of Seniors are going to be very missed next next but we know they are all going off to do great things.

So proud of these AC-Yay! Seniors! They had such great advice for our underclassman yesterday as they reflected on their years in the ACA and look forward to their futures. We are so proud of you ALL and will miss you next year!

Spent an AMAZING ACA workshop day creating stories through improv and drama with Isaac Eddy, Performing Arts Professor at VSU-Johnson and former performer with the Blue Man Group. We laughed and cried and of course… there were cookies.

Our ACA students had their first workshop of the 2023/2024 school year in the ACA wide project “Our Stories” around storytelling in the arts by learning about Auto Biographical Comics with artist Anna Moriarty-Lev and Art Therapist Kaye Shaddock. It was an awesome chance for students to communicate their stories through the arts!

What an incredible day with Juniper Creative Arts!! From hearing Will Kasso-Condry teaching us about the history Hip Hop Fashion and Graffiti and its evolution to a world-wide billion dollar industry to making our own hip-hop inspired fashion art as a community; it was amazing.

We also honored our Seniors with Hoagies and Cake! This Senior group has been fantastic since their freshman year; through Covid shut-down and hybrid meetings, when our ACA community was NOT our ACA community, through to when we got back to normal. Wow. That’s perseverance. Congratulations to Alex Guillette, Lydia Ste. Marie and Josie Pearson for being our ACA Senior Award winners this year!!!!

This whole day couldn’t have happened without our ACA Faculty. They are the backbone and the best of the best. Today they ironed tshirt transfers in the sun, helped facilitate student learning, and all with a smile and a dance move or two.

A special “thank you so much” to Will Kasso-Condry, Jennifer Herrera-Condry and Alexa Herrera-Condry for all of their work today. They inspired students and staff alike. These are the moments that make education impactful, important, and an investment in the future.of

Our ACA students learned how to beatbox from the amazingly talented Ahmed MR MiC Zaghbouni during our Hip Hop workshop and it was inspiring, educational, and all around amazing!! We were so lucky to have both MR MiC and Amirah Sackett working with students for the day!
